It was Kathleen's idea to make this
trip. She wanted to take a year off from school and travel around
the world. This trip takes care of the travel and it does not take
so long. We found out about this cruise line through a friend whose
daughter had been on it for a half the world cruise. It was a good
trip for her as she met and eventually married a guy that lives in
Namibia!
We will be home schooling the children
on the trip. Kathleen is in 7th grade, age 13 as of Dec. 28th and
Nicholas is in 5th grade, age 10 but will turn 11 on January 15th
while in Antarctica!
We know that this trip will make us all
realize all the world has to offer. It will let us see first hand things
we have only read about or seen on TV. It will make us want to learn other
languages, let's us make friends all over the world, make us want
to do it all over again, makes us one happy family in very close
quarters and lastly make us really appreciate home.
